Tips for getting the most from Mumboe
The Mumboe DashboardYou can use the Mumboe Dashboard to find an agreement, create a new agreement, or view tasks you must perform. The Tasks area shows you what tasks are past due, pending (including a due date), and must be done today. It also shows tasks that do not have a due date. See the screen shot. Bookmarking Important AgreementsJust like your "Favorites" list of sites in your Web browser, the Bookmarks link in Mumboe gives you fast access to the critical agreements over which you must keep vigilant watch. The advanced search in Mumboe lets you search within and across agreements. Searches can locate agreements with key dates, names, and companies, as well as locate key words or phrases within sections of the agreement clauses. You can save searches and re-run them any time you want to retrieve the latest results. And if a saved search is not retrieving exactly the agreements you want, you can change it. The agreement summary is a synthesis of agreement details—presented in one convenient screen for quick reference. See the screen shot. Subscribing to Event RemindersMumboe automatically sets up an event for the agreement's expiration date if you have given it a value, and allows users to define other events for agreement milestones. You can subscribe to any agreement event to receive automated reminders before an event occurs. Reminders (alerts) are sent out by email, and can be sent individually or grouped into a weekly email communication. Each event to which you subscribe will send multiple reminders to you at set intervals (90 days, 60 days, 30 days, and so on) unless you indicate otherwise. See the screen shot. Staying Organized with DocumentsMost agreements include the original agreement plus additional addendums or other legal documents. With business being conducted over email and the Internet, verbal agreements may also be captured in email or other documents that you want to store and associate with the agreement. For example, if you handle payments for contractual agreements, you would be most interested in agreement clauses dealing with payment terms and amounts. To help you view just the information you actually need, Mumboe allows you to customize the columns that are displayed in agreement lists, and set the order in which they are displayed.
