Ruby on Rails Developer 

Working together with a small team of web and database developers in an agile environment, the Developer will have the opportunity to develop experience with dynamic web applications, data mining and linguistics in a fun, fast-paced, and flexible environment.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10+ years experience in software development, preferably with scalable production web applications
• Experience in a production Ruby on Rails project preferred
• Experience developing, deploying and maintaining code, database and backend development preferred
• SQL and relational database experience required
• Knowledge of and experience in developing web application in a Linux / Unix and Apache environment is preferred
• Experience with Java, Perl, and Python in a Linux environment is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of industry work experience required
